HRUC Graduate Programme

The energetic celebration, held at our Uxbridge Campus, also marked a significant milestone as HRUC recognised the first cohort of students to complete the HRUC Graduate Programme. Designed to enhance employability, the programme offers extra-curricular and employment-focused enrichment opportunities that help students develop vital skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, effective communication, and ambition. Graduates received an additional certificate in recognition of their achievements alongside their main qualification.

A memorable event

Guests and graduates enjoyed a memorable event filled with photo opportunities, refreshments, and a commemorative celebration programme. Many students are already seeing the benefits of their Higher Education experience — progressing to university, advancing within their current careers, or entering the job market with a competitive edge for higher-level roles.

HRUC’s Group Principal, Dylan McTaggart, said:

“This brilliant evening of pride, progress and prestige demonstrates how HRUC delivers outstanding opportunities alongside exceptional academic outcomes. HRUC HE graduates graduate from our colleges with a Higher Education qualification — complemented by newfound skills, experience, and confidence that employers are truly looking for.

Many then progress into university final year degree top-ups. Through real-world projects and enrichment opportunities, our students graduate ready to thrive in today’s workplace.”

The event provided a fitting opportunity for staff, families, and friends to recognise the achievements of HRUC graduates and share in their success as they take the next steps in their professional journeys.
