Level 3 Electrical Installation apprentice
“My favourite thing about studying an apprenticeship is the confidence, being on site, learning new things and proving my ability.
Being able to refine the craft whilst getting support, feedback and recognition for my work, that really is the kicker.
Everything that I've done throughout my apprenticeship has put me in a position to have a seat at the same table as people that I've looked up to since the start of my apprenticeship.
It’s not just bookwork. You’re being paid to do it. There are more incentives.
You can establish yourself, in a career much earlier on than if you just do the conventional education route without the employment along with it.”

Level 5 CIPD People Management apprentice
“The best part for me about studying at HRUC was my tutor, Vijay, he was very inspiring, knowledgeable and incredibly supportive.
The course was well structured and if you kept on top of things, it always remained manageable.
I've learned so many new skills whilst on the course, overall it has boosted my confidence.
I would 100% recommend studying at HRUC, I wish I had done it sooner.”

Level 3 Early Years Educator apprentice
“My experience as an apprentice with HRUC has been really good for sure, it’s gave me so many opportunities including winning the Jack Petchie Award and the Uxbridge College Apprentice of the Year Award.
My tutor Angela Jones was amazing, she was so patient with me and she taught me so much.
She took so much of her personal time to help me, if there was assignments that I didn't quite understand, I'd shoot her an e-mail and she'd reply as soon as she could.
Even when I was in South Africa on a Turing scheme placement with HRUC, the communication was still amazing
The advice I'd give someone who's thinking to start an apprenticeship is I'd say do it.
The support you get from your tutor, the college and your employer all shaped together is just unmatchable.”
Erin
Level 3 Business Administration apprentice
“Apprenticeships are an excellent way to gain experience, whilst also learning new skills.
I've enjoyed taking on tasks that I've never completed before and gaining extra confidence.
I'm looking forward to seeing what new challenges come my way.”
Denis
Level 3 Business Administration apprentice
“One of the highlights of my apprenticeship is the fantastic team I have the privilege of working with.
From day one, my colleagues have been welcoming, approachable and supportive.
As soon as I started my apprenticeship, my employer set up weekly mentoring sessions for me.
These sessions offer a dedicated time to discuss my progress, challenges, and any questions with my mentor.
If you're looking for an opportunity to earn whilst you learn, then I would highly recommend applying for an apprenticeship that reflects your skills and interests.
I would strongly recommend HRUC as it provides a very supportive environment and offers unique opportunities for apprentices.”
Rachel
Level 5 HR Consultant apprentice
“This course has given me a new found confidence.
I loved the weekly classes and meeting likeminded people.
The apprenticeship gave me talking points and exposure in areas I didn't have and bridged the gap I needed for HR knowledge.
It can fit into your daily work and after 10 months into the apprenticeship, I gained a promotion at work.”
David
Level 5 CIPD People Management apprentice
“I had heard good things about the tutor and previous colleagues had studied at HRUC.
The support and help from my tutor was great which was one of the best parts of studying an apprenticeship through the college.
One of the challenges I faced was conducting the written work due to my dyslexia however the tutor was eager to support and help throughout the process.

“Apprenticeships are a very good avenue to learn whilst earning.
The knowledge, skills, and behaviour I enhanced over time has made me more qualified and confident to do my job and I have seen a massive increase in myself as a professional and as a leader.
The best part of studying at HRUC was having the best teacher who is truly dedicated to our growth.”
Sally
Business Administration apprentice
“HRUC supported me throughout my apprenticeship and guided me through everything.
I was always able to contact them if I had any questions and get a quick response.
After my apprenticeship I had much more confidence which is something that I struggled with before.”
