  • Entry requirements

    16 years or over.

    The requirement will be decided by each employer, but usually five GCSEs are required.

    Level 2

  • Delivery/Study method

    A minimum of 30 hours of on the job training at the work place per week including a day/ block release to study theory at our Uxbridge/ Hayes/ Harrow campus.

  • What will I learn?

    The key responsibilities for this apprenticeship is to understand the mechanism of buildings including electrical, plumbing, plant, safety systems and equipment, provide first and immediate response to fault finding, whilst maximising quality and ensuring cost effectiveness.

    The apprentice will be recognised by the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) providing Associate Membership for the apprentice whilst studying.

  • Duration and assessment

    The duration of the apprenticeship will a minimum of 12 months.
