Empowering Careers. Supporting Workforce Development
Whether you're looking to start a new career or you're an employer aiming to upskill your team, our Skills Bootcamps offer short, part-time training designed to meet the needs of the Health and Social Care sector. These intensive courses are delivered by experienced professionals and can lead to recognised qualifications or career progression opportunities.
Why Choose a Skills Bootcamp?
Skills Bootcamps are short training courses that are designed to help you quickly build the skills employers are looking for.
They are free for learners! So jobseekers or employees do not have to pay for the course, as costs are covered by employers and the Greater London Authority (GLA).
Other key reasons why you should apply:
- Part-time learning: study up to 6 hours for 1 day a week* with classroom-based delivery at Uxbridge College
- Fast progression: complete your course in 10–16 weeks
- Career outcomes: guaranteed interview or role progression.
*Duration of hours may be subject to change.
We also offer inclusive learning support, covering a range of learning difficulties, for any student requiring assistance, through our Learning Support team. More information is available here
